This version of our 2-Channel Magic Pre features a mono-summed output with our 600:600 Nickel Output Transformer. This is perfect for guitar players who want to sum two microphones down to a mono channel for recording purposes. Never leave the blend of your tone up to someone else!


The Magic Pre 2100 is a classic design, all discrete Class AB microphone preamp. It boasts High-quality Sifam VU meters, +48v Phantom Power, and a -20 dB Pad for ultimate headroom. This piece of audio recording equipment is hand-built in Nashville, TN USA, with the highest quality parts and craftsmanship.

We set out to build the best sounding solid-state discrete preamp we could build at an affordable price. We chose to not sacrifice audio quality for needless features. It's roots are in vintage design practices and proven building techniques; vetted by over 50 years of extensive R&D.
